Youbionic Hand is a robotic hand made of 3d printing and designed to perform all movements that a human hand can accomplish.
The mechanics is controlled by an Arduino microcontroller that can be programmed on a pc or mac.
Youbionic Hand is as big as a hand of a grown man. The design is one of its fundamental characteristics, can be functional and stylish at the same time, showing part of the mechanics of flexing fingers and protecting other parts with shape choices to be ergonomic and safe. Composed of 6 actuators placed at the fingers and one in the palm for the rotation thumb. A good compromise between speed of motion and strength. The 6 degrees of freedom and the opposable thumb allow moving in sync to get the best grasps.
The uses are many: from medical solutions like prosthesis, such mechanical applications like final actuator for robot arms, as final actuator on rover remotely controlled, as hand to Humanoids in real life size autonomous or controlled in VR.
